BCBS Medical Plans

Servier provides two medical plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA (BCBSMA). Both offer access to the same nationwide BCBS PPO network with free, in-network preventive care.

• The PPO $500 Plan has a simpler plan design with lower deductibles and predictable copays, but you’ll have higher per-pay-period premiums.
• The PPO Saver Plan is a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that is paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA). This plan has lower per-pay-period premiums and provides short- and long-term savings opportunities and a generous employer HSA contribution but has higher out-of-pocket costs.

Well Connection Telehealth Services

Get access to care right at your fingertips with BCBS’s Well Connection. Well Connection is available to BCBSMA members and provides a network of telehealth providers for medical and mental health needs, easily accessible via your computer or mobile device.

Members can contact a provider 24/7 for general care such as:

• Cold and flu symptoms
• Fever, runny nose, sinus pain, sore throat
• Cough, wheezing
• Headaches and migraines
• Skin rash

Members can also use Well Connection for emotional support and to speak with a therapist about:

• Depression and anxiety
• Substance use disorder
• Loss of a loved one
• Couples therapy
• Emotional trauma
• Stress

Costs for telehealth visits are the same as an in-person office visit. Eligible members can access care offered by Well Connection by signing into their MyBlue account and selecting Well Connection Video Visits under My Care in the navigation after signing in.

Fitness and Weight Loss Reimbursement

BCBSMA members are eligible to receive up to $300 per calendar year for qualified fitness memberships and weight loss programs, including:

• Health club memberships
• Online fitness memberships, subscriptions, programs, or classes
• Fitness classes including spin, yoga, and kickboxing
• Cardiovascular and strength-training equipment for fitness that is purchased for use in the home, such as stationary bikes, weights, exercise bands, treadmills, and fitness machines
• In-person or online weight-loss programs like WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers®)
